Suzhou Nantong Science & Technology Park is a significant project of Singapore--Jiangsu Cooperative Council and a cross-Yangtze River cooperative project between Suzhou and Nantong. Located at the southern part of Nantong city and the northern part of Yangtze River Bridge, Suzhou Nantong Science & Technology Park is one hour to Shanghai and Suzhou by car. Started construction on 26th May 2009, the park covers a jurisdiction area of 50 sq km and is schemed to integrate the function of industry, R&D, residence and recreation.

Located at the southern part of Yellow Sea, northern bank of Yangtze River estuary facing Suzhou and Shanghai, as well as the intersection of coastal economic belt and Yangtze River economic belt, Nantong is one of the fist fourteen opening-up cities along the coastline of China and the Sutong Yangtze River Bridge also pulls Nantong into the Shanghai-centered one-hour economic circle.
